Caring for Your Metal
999 Silver
999 silver is 99.9% pure silver. Its softness is part of its beauty, so please handle it gently and avoid pressure or bending.Silver may naturally oxidise or darken over time. Gently polish with a soft silver polishing cloth to restore its shine. Do not use toothpaste, abrasive cloths or harsh chemical cleaners.
925 Silver
925 sterling silver may naturally tarnish through contact with air, moisture, skincare and daily wear. This is normal and can usually be removed with a soft silver polishing cloth. For a deeper clean, use a small amount of mild soap with lukewarm water, rinse briefly and dry completely with a soft cloth. Avoid soaking for long periods.
Gold-Plated
Gold plating is a delicate surface finish and will naturally wear over time, especially on areas that experience frequent contact or friction. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth only. Avoid polishing cloths, abrasive cleaners, ultrasonic cleaners and chemical dips, as these may remove or dull the gold plating. Keep your piece dry and away from perfume, sanitiser, lotion and sweat.
